Vegan Youth

I made this blog in order to share simple and delicious vegan recipes with the people I love and the people I don't know yet :) It's my goal to inspire you to eat healthier and to have fun while you're at it!

TURMERIC: This spice, which has anti-inflammatory properties, can be used in soups and when cooking mushrooms and other sources of protein. You can buy turmeric at most markets. I use the brand, Sadaf.

ORGANIC STEEL CUT OATS: These grains have vitamins, protein and fiber. Add some fresh fruit, raisins and walnuts on top for a perfect breakfast.

ORGANIC RAW BLUE AGAVE: I use agave as a substitute for honey and sugar.

ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER: Peanut butter should have only 2 ingredients, roasted peanuts and salt. If you have never tried organic peanut butter, I urge you to do so. You will never go back to Jiffy or Skippy!

ORGANIC UNREFINED COCONUT OIL: Unrefined coconut oil is rich with lauric acid and it can help boost your metabolism. I eat at least 1 tablespoon a day, on a piece of toast. You can use it in place of butter in recipes.

ORGANIC RICE MILK (UNSWEETENED): I use rice milk as a milk substitute and I prefer its taste to almond or soy milk.

ORGANIC RED QUINOA:  Red quinoa is a complete protein and it’s easy to cook!
